Each year volunteers play an important role in making Open Streets Corvallis successful. Volunteers help set-up, keep people hydrated, manage intersections, and more! Prior to the event, volunteers help with outreach and planning.
Volunteer sign-ups will be available in May. In the meantime, you can fill out our volunteer interest form and we’ll send you an email when the shifts go live.
Event Day: Arrive 10-15 minutes early for your shift and check in at the Volunteer Tent or check in on your phone. The Volunteer Tent will be located at the mid-route activity hub on 2nd Street, between Madison and Jefferson Avenues. You can pick up your volunteer t-shirt and any materials you’ll need for your shift there.
Volunteers are required to either attend the hybrid volunteer training, watch the recording or read through the presentation slides. The training will be on Tuesday, June 23, 6:30 – 7:15 pm in the Willow Room at the Corvallis Community Center.

We have volunteer opportunities available from morning until late afternoon on the day of the event. Each shift is between 1 and 2 hours in length. Volunteer perks include a t-shirt, sticker, voucher for Go Giddy Pops, coffee, pastries, and tamales.
